Who is Jamar Cole Jr?
I am Jamar Cole Jr., a 14-year-old true 8th grader,
Class of 2030,
standing 5’8” and 135 lbs.
I am originally from Texas, and currently competing in Georgia as a dedicated multi-sport student-athlete.
Relocating from Texas to Georgia has challenged me to adjust to new competition, coaching styles, and environments, helping me grow both as an athlete and as a person. I embrace competition, value hard work, and remain focused on continuous improvement.
Multi-Sport Athlete
In football, I am a versatile athlete trusted on both sides of the ball, playing Wide Receiver (WR), Running Back (RB), Quarterback (QB), Safety (S), and Cornerback (CB). My versatility allows me to adapt quickly, understand multiple systems, and contribute wherever my team needs me most. I pride myself on speed, physicality, leadership, and coachability.
In baseball, I continue that versatility by competing at Second Base (2B), Shortstop (SS), and Center Field (CF). Competing in baseball has strengthened my hand-eye coordination, focus, and mental toughness, which directly translates to my performance on the football field.
I also compete in basketball as a Shooting Guard (SG) and Small Guard (SG). Basketball helps me stay in peak condition year-round while improving my endurance, agility, footwork, and competitiveness.
In track & field, I participate in the Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. Track has played a key role in developing my explosiveness, speed, body control, and lower-body strength, which enhances my performance across all sports.
My Goal
Academically, I take pride in being a strong student. I maintain a 3.2 GPA and participate in Talented and Gifted academic programs, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as in athletics.
Beyond athletics, my dream career is to become a Sports Physical Therapist, allowing me to continue working with athletes and contribute to their performance, recovery, and long-term health.
My goal is to continue developing as a student-athlete, compete at the highest level possible, and earn opportunities at the next level through discipline, dedication, and consistency on and off the field.
